Rocket Wheel Hub Motors The Rocket Wheel is a very quiet and efficient brushless hub motor that weighs just 4.62 pounds! Riverrock Enterprises is offering 24 and 36 Volt kits with a thumb or twist grip throttle, controller, spokes and cutoff break handles. Interested parties also have the option to purchase a turnkey kit that includes an 8 pound lithium ion battery pack with the hub motor laced into a rim. This package adds a total of 15 pounds to a bike, making the Rocket Wheel standout as the lightest electric bike around. The motor can be geared to suit 16", 20", 22", 24", 26", and 27" wheels with a torque of approximately 18Nm. Speeds range from 15 to 20 mph with distances from 15 to 20 miles on one charge. |
